Overview

The conical design of the XDP Performance Valve Spring & Retainer Kit offers improved valve control over a basic straight spring. The conical shape allows for a smaller and lighter weight spring retainer that is more robust due to the reduction in size. Unlike other aftermarket valve springs this valve spring kit can be used on a wide range of applications from stock to race-built engines making it the perfect "one and done" upgrade that lets you upgrade in the future to support more power. Each spring is subjected to a stress relief process and is computer load mapped to give a superior-quality product with long term resilience. Tested with 1 lb of seat pressure this valve spring & retainer set comes complete with locks, retainers, springs and is supported with 1 year of warranty.

Application notes

• These valve springs require a spring pocket size of 1.190" or larger 
• In some rare instances the spring pocket may be too small due to OEM machining inconsistencies on 1998.5-2002 models 
• If needed any competent machine shop will be able to cut a larger spring pocket
