Overview

In high performance and competition applications the factory pushrods are nowhere near adequate to handle the stress from increased cylinder pressure, valve spring pressures and higher RPM. The XDP pushrods are expertly handcrafted to very stringent standards with the highest quality materials, the 7/16" Competition & Race rods are made from seamless 4130/4135 chromoly tubing that is cold drawn over a mandrel for increased rigidity and flex reduction. The tips are manufactured from a core hardened and triple tempered 86L20 bar stock for maximum impact and wear resistance resulting in a stronger quality component helping to maximize valvetrain performance
