The RevMax 68RFE-929A Transmission Cooler Thermal Bypass Valve from XDP helps keep the transmission cool on your 2010-2012 Dodge 6.7L Diesel 68RFE. The 2010-2012 68RFE equipped Ram trucks have been known to run hotter than their earlier predecessors. The factory thermal bypass was designed with a large restriction which reduces cooler flow by up to 87%. In addition, there have been reports of melted down transmissions due to the bypass valve sticking in the cold closed position.

The completely re-engineered, RevMax 68RFE Transmission Cooler Thermostatic Bypass Upgrade completely fixes all these complaints. No other bypass offers full unrestricted flow like the RevMax version does. Constructed from Billet 6061 Aluminum, this bypass features RevMax’s ZeroStat Technology, completely removing the orifice restriction for full cooler flow all the time. This equates to lower operating temperatures and longer transmission life. Removing the thermal bypass valve and the orifice bottleneck located in the factory part, you can expect up to an 87% increase in cooler flow. Best of all, removing the thermal controlled bypass valve eliminates any chance of failure which can cause a lack of cooler flow and complete transmission destruction.

Instead of closing off cooler flow when the transmission is cold and making your transmission generate unneeded heat that is hard to shed later; this bypass allows your cooler to immediately begin cooling your transmission and not waiting for it to get hot, just to try to cool it later. Best of all, you can now properly flush your cooler lines without the aid of a hot flush machine. Typically, a hot flush machine is required to get the system hot enough to open up the bypass valve up. With the RevMax bypass upgrade you can use room temperature fluid to clean out your cooler anytime you wish without any special tools!
