Overview

2014-2019 Dodge / Jeep 3.0L Eco Diesel is now available on the HP Tuners platform!

Note 

The latest HP Tuners BETA VCM suite MUST Be used. (Update before proceeding).

If dont have an MPVI3 Device or an ECM (19-21), and if you are purchasing it along with this tune file, once you receive the Device / ECM please email the following details / files to mark@bcdiesel.ca to receive the tune file. 

• Stock Read File    
• MPVI Info Log File
• MPVI3 Serial Number 
• New ECM Serial Number

How to Read the stock file

Instructions

1. With the original ECM installed pull a read with your MPVI3 device.
2. Email the read into us with the order number and ECM S/N on the sticker of the new ECM.
3. You will receive an email back with your tune file in 2-3 business days.
4. Disconnect batteries and install new ECM.
5. Reinstall Batteries after ECM installed.
6. Place the key in the RUN position ( make sure the engine is not running)
7. Install the bypass cable and MPVI3 device into the OBD
8. Open the tune file we provided via email and WRITE ENTIRE to the truck.
9. Once the truck is tuned, HP will prompt you to turn the key off then on. Do NOT turn the engine over. Leave the key in the on position for seconds and then start the truck.

IMPORTANT BUYING NOTES 

• You need the latest VCM Suite Beta software to read and write to MPVI3
• If you dont have HP Tuners Credits, You have to add 8 Credits to tune one truck.
• You need a MPVI3 Tuner to perform this tuning ( Add to This Order or Purchase seperately if you dont have one)

DO NOT FLASH SPECIAL NOTE

If your tuned truck is taken to a dealership, clearly state, "DO NOT FLASH TRUCK." Dealer techs may unintentionally overwrite your tuning, leading to issues. If this happens, EZlynk users can reload tuning; for Power Programmer or HPTuners, a revision request may be needed for file remakes.

Note: If flashing ECM on bench, or using BenchForce harness to connect directly to the ECM, it is not required to do anything with the vehicle fuses. Just flash directly into the ECM like normal.
