The air flow is up to 64% greater than stock and outflows Volant and AIRAID. It has a giant outlet as well as an oiled air filter housing with sizable side and bottom inlets. Banks Ram-Air increases the amount of cool, dense air that produces power and directs it to the engine, reducing EGTs and smoke while also enhancing fuel efficiency. The cotton gauze filter is most effective at capturing dirt and particles. This kit is the only aftermarket intake that features 4-1/2" bellows to allow for engine movement.
