With most Fuel Additive's being nothing more than snake oil and being a Red Seal H.D. Mechanic I know the outcomes of sub par fuel.  Stanadyne is made by an actual fuel injection company; It is endorsed by Cummins, Gmc, Ford, Navistar and more.  Stanadyne is also a demulsifier which means it helps seperate any water in suspension at the Fuel water seprator or "primary filter".  This is much better than an emulsifier in my opinion which fights the filters.  Stanadyne also helps boost lubricity which in modern ULSD is super important.  It also acts as a Cetane booster and I personally use stanadyne performance formula every single tank of fuel and I find my truck starts better I have never had any gelling issues and it idles smoother and I sleep better knowing I am helping my fuel injection system as much as I can.
