The factory injector cups can often seize to the injector and come out of the head during injector removal and seperating them can be a challenge once removed. Often leading to damage which cause over pressurization of the cooling system leading to symptoms of a blown head gasket, damage to the radiator, water pump and other cooling system components. Replacing the injector cups during a fuel injector installation makes sure that your engine and fuel injectors maintain proper function and performance. the XDP injector cup set is made as a direct fit replacement and comes ready to install.
