Overview
The XDP Performance Balancer Series - Diesel Performance Harmonic Balancer XD723 is an ideal upgrade for your high-performance GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ/LMM. High-performance diesel engines require a high-performance balancer. Upgrading the harmonic balancer (also known as a crankshaft vibration damper) when you increase your engine's power output is vital for prolonged engine life. A performance balancer can be essential for engines with increased horsepower, torque, or RPM, as they are better designed to handle more extreme torsional vibrations and help prevent potential engine damage.
The Performance Balancer Series from XDP are designed to withstand the demands of modified diesel engines. Constructed with a Billet Steel Ring and Hub, the XDP Performance Balancers use an ultra-reliable pressure-bonded technology to bond the steel hub to the steel inertia ring. These balancers are engineered to meet SFI 18.1 specifications and are approved for race use. In addition, the balancers are dynamically balanced for smooth operation and include easy-to-read computer etched timing marks.
