I do like the fitment of the stock filter assembly so I thought I would give this a try. To remove the old filter element I took a 1/2" drill and let it roll around the outside of the element to break the glue. Once I did that it popped right out. The new filter pops right in.
The only thing to note, it goes in backwards to what you would think so the inside of the cone gets dirty. This might make it a bit harder to clean. We will see in the future.  Overall I am pleased.
