The full-aluminum, TIG-welded construction of Mishimoto's degas tank means it won't crack and leak coolant after thousands of heat cycles like the stock plastic tank. The integrated cold-fill indicator also makes filling easy; no more trying to shine a flashlight through a muddy tank. To ensure this Mishimoto degas tank maintains all your stock tank's functionality, we've also included an OEM-quality coolant level sensor for the low coolant level light on the dash. This tank also incorporates internal baffling to ensure coolant stays where it needs to be, even when the road gets rough. Those with big single-turbo trucks also know that the stock expansion tank sits dangerously close to the turbo, or blocks it altogether. The Mishimoto degas tank is specifically designed to give you clearance for big single turbo setups, without any additional trimming
