Overview

The Fleece FPE-DMAX-HFFBA-1116 Auxiliary Heated Fuel Filter Kit is a must-have if you have a positive pressure lift pump in your 2011-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LML. The heated fuel filter kit features a filter base with an internal high-flow fuel heater, Donaldson spin-on filter, and Water-In-Fuel (WIF) sensor. Designed to replace the stock fuel filter housing, the heater in this kit turns on at around 28.4F and shuts off at about 48.2F. A temperature increase of between 4-8F will happen across the heating element at typical fuel flow rates. Included with this kit is a wiring harness, fuse taps, pre-formed hoses, and hose fitting for a straightforward installation.

At typical fuel flow rates, a temperature increase of between 4-8F will occur across the heating element.

This filter base eliminates the factory fuel primer bulb and is intended ONLY for use with a positive pressure lift pump such as Fleece’s PowerFlo lift pump or an alternative frame-mounted pump.
