OVERVIEW

Customers can buy extra VIN licenses to tune more controllers. The number of VIN licenses available depends on the tuning device's maximum capacity. A single VIN license comes with the purchase of a physical tuning device.

Following Details are Needed

How to find the Serial Number & Auth Code

• Connect your FlashScan V2 or AutoCal V2 device to your PC.
• Start the EFILive Scan and Tune application.
• Press the "F7" Key on keyboard : Licenses button in the left-hand pane.
• Serial Number field will display the serial number. 

• Press the "F3" Key : VINs button in the left-hand pane.
• Click the [Generate Auth Code] button. 
• The Authentication Code will be shown in the Auth Code: field.  Note: Not applicable for Scan Tool

Note

When generating a serial and authorization code for placing a VIN License order, the number of additional VIN licenses that can be purchased for the device must be more than zero. If there are no available license slots, customers will not be able to generate an Auth Code to order VIN Licenses until the VIN License slot count is increased. Tuners are responsible for managing the maximum number of VIN license slots for their AutoCal customers
