The Ford DC3Z-6A785-C Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) Oil Separator will replace the clogged CCV in your 2011-2016 Ford F-250/350/450/550 6.7L Powerstroke. The crankcase vent system separates oil from crankcase fumes, recycles crankcase fumes, and allows crankcase pressure mitigation to reduce the amount of ash loading on the DPF during this operation. Although CCV service is not required, it should be replaced as part of regular maintenance every 30,000 to 40,000 miles, according to Ford Motor Company's published maintenance information.
