Overview 

Banks Power Ram Air Intake System is designed for maximum air density gain, improved airflow, gained power, and offers greater mileage on your 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins 12V/24V 2500/3500 truck. The air flow is up to 33% greater than stock. The Banks Ram-Air Intake System swaps out the flat panel stock filter for a sizable conical filter that offers the highest level of high-flow filtering. The inlet of the stock is dwarfed by the Ram-Air opening. Airflow to the cylinders is dramatically improved by the large inlet, enclosed housing and much larger tubing, which decrease restrictions. It has a giant outlet as well as an oiled air filter housing with sizable side and bottom inlets. With the giant outlet, the streamlined components and enclosed cold-air box that are constructed to prevent hot engine air out of the intake. It is extensively tested and validated on the computer using Computational Flow Dynamics, then on flowbench, and finally on the vehicle.
