ATS 3039012464 Performance Valve Body With Solenoid Pack that will allow you to haul with confidence in your 68RFE equipped diesel. The transmission's nervous system is the valve body, which converts electronic signals from the TCM into hydraulic operations. The clutch-to-clutch design on the 68-RFE is non-synchronous. This means that shifts from gear to gear must be precisely timed for the friction clutches to release and apply perfectly. Because of the sensitivity of the hydraulic circuits, ATS changed many parts of the valve body. The hydraulic oil is routed to the clutch packs where additional pressure is needed. The accumulator piston seals have been redesigned to ensure that hydraulic pressure integrity is maintained.

The accumulator plate is built of a high-grade material to accommodate the higher pressure exerted by the accumulator springs and pistons in high-power situations. The ATS 68-RFE valve body can be installed in a factory transmission to boost transmission capacity. When this valve body is installed in a factory transmission, it should be capable of handling an additional 100+ horsepower on average.
