2879-BOLTS-NEW Redhead Steering Box Bolts - Dodge 5.9L / 6.7L Cummins - 2003-2008

Overview

We now offer 3 new mounting bolts for your Dodge 2500 or 3500 pickup truck that will fit with Steering Gear Part Numbers 2879 or 2879U.

Note : Please be careful not to put a long bolt in the top mount hole or it will screw right into the top cover, ruining it, use the short bolt in this location!

SPECIFICATIONS

• Bottom 2 Bolts: M14x2.0, 22mm Head, 215mm Long.
• Top Bolt: M14x2.0, 22mm Head, 164mm Long.

Note : If you changed out the steering gear once already and did not use an OEM gear then there is a chance you may have changed the bolts. In that case you need these bolts to fix this steering box. These bolts can no longer be sourced at any local parts stores, so RedHead manufacture them at a shop.
